Within This Issue

The National Curriculum was now being implemented in special schools and there are articles on its implementation in this issue to share ideas: the work on the National Curriculum Development Team; Science in the Curriculum at the Paddock School; the views of staff at Tye Green School about the need to develop a meaningful National Curriculum and their concerns about the lack of sound guidance from the National Curriculum Council. There is also a focus on the use of technology: Hillside School’s multisensory environment; microtechnology at Meldreth Manor School.
