The editorial focuses on the theme of the next issue which is working in partnership with parents. The theme of this issue is further education: MACE, a mutual support group providers of further and adult education representing a variety of establishments and services; one special school’s approach to offering post-16 provision; differing provision at several FE colleges; a careers adviser’s perspective on specialist FE courses; the development of safeguards, strategies and approaches relating to the sexuality of children and adults; an evaluation of the impact of the National Curriculum in some special schools; and concerns about the training of teachers.
