Within This Issue

The issue focusses on the role of voluntary and independent organisations that support people with PMLD and their families. As usual, there also articles on other topics: a parent’s view on the life experiences of her daughter and the rest of the family in the light of the MENCAP report ‘No Ordinary Life’; a Ghanaian perspective on ‘Community Contacts’ for people with PMLD; colour therapy; and several reports from conferences or seminars on communication, Objects of Reference and linking parents and professionals in meeting the needs of people with PMLD.
